Message from the Chaplain

“Teacher, which commandment of the law is the greatest?” He said to him, “’You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the greatest and first commandment.” And a second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.” (Matt 22:36-40)

As we prepare for the great Jubilee Year of Mercy, we reflect upon these two great commandments and its implications in our busy lives. We are excited to share the opportunity to participate in the spiritual and corporal works of mercy throughout this jubilee year to celebrate the boundless mercy of God and invite you to join our working hands and hearts to be a Witness to Jesus in all areas of our lives. Come and see how our spirit of service, when joined with fellowship, food, faith formation, and fun can make a big difference in the lives of all we touch!

-Fr. Marvin Samiano, JCL Chaplain
